- Anti Money Laundering & Know Your Customer (AML/KYC)
DCRET complies with applicable anti money laundering and know your customer regulations for all participants.
Verification Process:
- Identity verification against government issued ID
- Address verification via proof of residence
- Screening against international sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN, UK HM Treasury)
- Enhanced due diligence for high risk participants
Timeline:
- Standard verification: Completed before service access is granted
- High risk participants: Must provide requested documentation within 24 hours per Terms Section 7.4
- Failure to provide documentation may result in access revocation without refund
Information Required:
- Government issued identification (passport or driver’s license)
- Proof of address (utility bill or bank statement)
- Payment information for purchases
- Additional documentation may be requested at DCRET’s discretion
Sanctions Screening Databases:
- OFAC (US Office of Foreign Assets Control)
- HM Treasury UK Sanctions List
- EU Consolidated Sanctions List
- UN Security Council Sanctions Lists
- World Bank Debarred Parties List
If you appear on any sanctions list, your account will be immediately suspended and reported to appropriate authorities as required by law.
- Data Security & Protection
Security Measures:
- Transport Encryption: All data transmitted via HTTPS with TLS 1.2+ encryption
- Data Storage Encryption: AES 256 encryption for all stored data
- Access Controls: Role based access limiting data visibility to authorized personnel only
- Firewall Protection: Web Application Firewall (WAF) protecting platform infrastructure
- Authentication: Multi factor authentication available for enhanced account security
- Monitoring: Security monitoring for unauthorized access attempts
- Backups: Regular encrypted backups to prevent data loss
Per our Privacy Policy: “We have taken necessary and reasonable technical and organizational measures to secure personal information in our possession.”
Your Security Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials
- Do not share your password with anyone, including support staff
- Use secure networks when accessing your account (avoid public WiFi)
- Report suspected unauthorized access to support@dcret.com immediately
- Keep your registered email address secure (it’s your account recovery method)
Important Security Notice:
While we implement robust security measures, no system is completely foolproof. You are responsible for maintaining the security of information you transmit through our Services. Use caution and only access our Services in a secure environment.
- Trading Rules & Prohibited Activities
Per Terms and Conditions Section 4.4, participants are expressly prohibited from:
- Exploiting errors or latency in pricing and/or platform(s) provided by the Broker
- Utilizing non public and/or insider information
- Front running of trades placed elsewhere
- Trading in any way that jeopardizes the relationship with a broker or may result in trade cancellations
- Trading in any way that creates regulatory issues for the Broker
- Utilizing any third party strategy, off the shelf strategy, or one marketed to pass challenge accounts
- Utilizing one strategy to pass an assessment and then utilizing a different strategy in a funded account
- Entering Equity CFD positions at or near end of trading day with intent to profit from market gaps
- Attempting to arbitrage a challenge account with another account
Consequences of Prohibited Trading:
Per Terms Section 4.5: “If the Company detects that your trading constitutes Prohibited Trading, your participation in the program will be terminated and may include forfeiture of any fees paid to the Company.”
Review Process:
Per Terms Section 4.5: “Before any Trader shall receive a funded account, the trading activity of the Trader under these Terms and Conditions shall be reviewed by both the Company and the Broker to determine whether such trading activity constitutes Prohibited Trading.”
- Purchase Policy & Refunds
Standard Refund Policy:
Per Terms Section 7.4: “There are no refunds on any Services purchased from the Company.”
Limited Exception:
Per Terms Section 7.5: “Delivery of funded account is sole discretion of company on case by case basis. If account is not delivered after completion of both phases, the user can request a refund of the amount he used to purchase challenge.”
What This Means:
- Service purchases are non refundable
- If you successfully complete both challenge phases but DCRET does not deliver a funded account, you may request a refund of your challenge purchase price
- All refund decisions are at DCRET’s sole discretion
- Refund requests must be submitted to support@dcret.com with documentation of phase completion
- Risk Warnings & Disclosures
Trading Involves Substantial Risk:
Per Terms Section 10.2: “There is considerable exposure to risk in any over the counter transaction, including, but not limited to, leverage, creditworthiness, limited regulatory protection and market volatility that may substantially affect the price of the products you are trading.”
Leverage Risk:
Per Terms Section 10.3: “The leveraged nature of over the counter trading means that any market movement will have an equally proportional effect on your funds. This may work against you as well as for you.”
Technology & Operational Risk:
Per Terms Section 10.4: “There are risks associated with utilizing an Internet based trading system including, but not limited to, the failure of hardware, software, and Internet connection. The Company is not responsible for communication failures or delays when trading via the Internet.”
Important Disclosures:
- Past performance does not indicate future results
- Challenge performance does not guarantee funded account delivery
- DCRET makes no promise, guarantee, or warranty as to any promise to future employment as a trader, monetary payments, or any other type or kind of compensation or award for your performance (per Terms Section 8.1)
- You should carefully consider whether trading is right for you depending on your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite
- Business Disruption Policy
Per Terms and Conditions:
If Trading Platform Becomes Unavailable:
- For Dcret Trader accounts: All balances shall be frozen until they can be transferred to a future available platform. Account equity or balance may be ‘snapshotted’ at the earliest convenience. Any active/open trades may be closed or cancelled at DCRET’s sole discretion. DCRET is not liable for any losses or gains made on accounts from mentioned active/open trades.
- For Evaluation Program participants: DCRET will transition you to an alternative trading platform with identical metrics (e.g., drawdown levels) or offer alternative options at DCRET’s sole discretion.

THE SERVICE AND COMPANY WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE COMPANY WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, JUDGMENTS, CHARGES, OR FEES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO COMPENSATORY, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.
The Company’s maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the Services or $1,000, whichever is less.
